Trying snails and frogs!
As well as the main dish tonight, the boys had a chance to try snails and frogs legs. Surprisingly, they mostly enjoyed them although there were a few displeased faces! The boys are now in their costumes ready for the rest of French night - all looking great.
Wednesday daytime
The weather was lovely today for our day trip to Mont Saint Michel and Saint Malo. The boys had a great time looking round the shops and having ice cream and some time on the beach at Saint Malo. We're back at the Chateau getting showered and ready for dinner and then French night!
No ice cream gets left behind - not even when you're running on the beach!
Wednesday information
We're on our way to Saint Michel and then on to Saint Marlo. Pictures will be up this evening when we have WiFi back at the chataeu!

Tuesday evening entertainment
Tonight, the entertainment is the egg drop challenge! With the given materials, can the teams make a parachute to protect their egg when it's dropped off the roof of the Chateau?! We'll find out...
Tuesday afternoon
The first activities are done; zip wire, archery and night line. All the boys had fun and Mrs Fraser especially had fun spraying the boys on the night line with a water gun. Now to swap round the activity groups!
Tuesday morning
This morning, the boys went to a local French market which gave them a chance to converse with the locals who were happy to help out the pupils with filling out their work books. After a quick trip to a French supermarket, we headed to a lovely river-side park for lunch before travelling back to the Chateau to get ready for an afternoon of activities!
